Periwinkle is a stone built fisherman's cottage quietly situated between the sea and the village green in the picturesque village of St.Monans.

The cottage comprises:

Clean tastefully decorated accommodation (Scottish Tourist Board 4 Stars), with gas central heating. No charge for heating or electricity.
Sunny lounge with open fire (fuel provided), television, video and DVD.
Spacious sitting/dining room, hi-fi.
Free Wi-Fi added May 2010.
Fitted kitchen, electric cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, and dishwasher.
West facing walled garden, garden furniture, barbecue, garden gate opening to village green.
Wash house, automatic washing machine and dryer.

On the First Floor:
Bathroom suite.
3 bedrooms; double, twin and children's room with bunk beds. All with duvets.

St.Monans is one of the pretty East Neuk fishing villages, the heart of which is a conservation area; many houses have been restored by the National Trust for Scotland. There are a few shops and two restaurants/pubs. The Fife coastal path passes close to Periwinkle. Nearby there are beautiful golden sandy beaches and rocky shorelines with rock pools to explore.

There is plenty to do and see in the area, whatever your taste, sporting, leisurely or cultural.

St.Andrews - 20 minutes.
Edinburgh - 1 hour.
