History:
Penroc, built at least 170 years ago, has been in the wider family since 1974. In 2006 it was completely refurbished and extended to include a large balcony and panoramic living area below.
The adjoining cottage Ty Mari can be rented as well and there is a soundproofed intercommunicating door. For prices for the two cottages (10 bed and 2 bath)see the website:cottageguide/tymari-penroc

Any questions? Writing a book?
If we can answer questions or arrange something other than advertised do call 01892 864541 (evenings) to see if we can help. Perhaps you want to stay more than 2 weeks outside school holidays? Call us for special rates if you do.

Laundry service:
This is provided so there is no need to bring your own sheets, towels and drying up clothes.

Cleaning:
Leave the cottage reasonably clean and Tara will come around 10 a.m. Saturday to do a thorough clean through as well as change the sheets and towels.

Phone contact:
There is no mobile reception unless you climb a local hill or drive a mile and a half to 'The Arch'. The cottage has its own landline which is free evenings and weekends.

Borth Beach found to be one of the cleanest in UK. Worth a 40 minute drive or an 18 mile cross-country walk from Devil's Bridge on a sunny day!

Penroc in Winter and Spring:
The cottage can be kept cosy even on the coldest nights. Having the extra charge underfloor heating in the winter is a real treat. Walking around on the warm floor is just great! There can be snow during the winter/spring months but the mountain road is kept reasonably clear. If there are significant falls approach the cottage from A44/Devils Bridge. Do remember your camera!

Are the dates you want already booked?
Do look at the availability of cottageguide/tymari if there are more than four of you.
