 Penhale Cottages, a row of traditional stone cottages south facing are set in a private property at the end of long drive. They sleep 6 (Courtyard), 4 (Coachman's) and 2 (Stable) and are ideal for families sharing holidays with friends enjoying water sports, cycling, golfing, walking and visiting Gardens.
Accommodation The cottages are attractively decorated, simply furnished and fully equipped with night store heaters, televisions, DVDs, microwaves, etc., open fires (wood is provided). There is a shared secluded garden, laundry room with washing machines, tumbler dryers and line and a ping-pong table is in the barn. Location - Set next door to the National Trust Trelissick Gardens;
- Enjoy the river trips on the Fal.
- The King Harry Ferry, nearby, takes you across the River Fal to the Roseland Peninsula which offers good pubs, sea fishing and sandy beaches (with public toilets);
- Loe Beach close by offers water sports and tuition for all ages/abilities.
- The North Coast, not far away, offers surfing.
- Visit the Maritime Museum in Falmouth; The Eden Project; Tate at St Ives where there are sandy beaches and windsurfing; Truro with its cathedral and museum, offers tennis, shopping, cinemas, theatre and restaurants.
