A special holiday location... Nestling on a gently sloping hill, in an almost secret location, in the quiet holiday village of Aberporth, this small cluster of self-catering bungalows and apartments enjoys a unique and most special setting in Wales. This former fishing village is still undiscovered by the holiday masses even though we can boast two of the area's loveliest beaches. All our visitors are delighted when they first arrive at Penffynnon and find out just how close they are to the water's edge - every one of our properties is within 200 yards of the sea. If you are luck you will get a sight of Cardigan Bay's colony of Bottle Nosed Dolphins. It's hard to imagine a more relaxing holiday. Most of our properties are set in their own grounds and approached by a private road providing perfect seclusion yet still remaining convenient to the village amenities.
Morawel is a large house 50 metres from the sea front. It has 5 bedrooms and sleeps 10.
Cilgwyn is a substantial house overlooking the sea, set in its own grounds, and is divided into two villas each sleeping 6.
Dolphin Cottage (to sleep 6) - a bungalow designed to meet Access Grade 2 for wheel chair users. Excellent views of Cardigan Bay and its Dolphins. Photo:
Ty Broc (to sleep 8) - a split level house with excellent views of the bay. Photo:
Our PRICES include all bed linen (but not towels), electricity and full central heating. All of the properties are fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, digital TV, barbecue, outside showers etc.
Access Dolphin Cottage, Mor, and the downstairs in Morawel all have access to meet Grade 2 standards and have 'walk in' showers.
Aberporth's two safe, Blue Flag sandy beaches are practically deserted for most of the season and this is an ideal setting for those "wanting to get away from it all." There is a selection of shops, two pubs, a chapel and a church, and you'll get a friendly welcome wherever you go. |
