 This very pretty cottage has a lovely peaceful rural location 1.5 miles from Northlew village, which has a PO/stores, pub and 16th century church. The cottage has distant views of Dartmoor. It was once the barn for the adjoining 17th century Devon longhouse. The cottage is spacious and furnished with comfort and style. The kitchen is very fully equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. There are beamed ceilings, whitewashed walls and an inglenook fireplace with a wood-burner.
The accommodation comprises: Hall. Lounge with French windows to patio and garden. Fully fitted kitchen/diner. Stairs to: Double en-suite bedroom, and Twin en-suite bedroom. The cottage is in attractive grounds with an enclosed garden, patio, garden furniture and BBQ. Oil central heating available at £20 per week supplement. Electricity, towels, linen included in price. Normally Saturday changeover but variable by negotiation. Northlew is a central location for touring Devon and Cornwall. Walking, sailing and horse riding are available locally. The sea and beaches are about half an hour away; at Bude there are wide expanses of sandy beaches, a surf school and a large seawater swimming pool. The Eden Project is approx. 50 miles and the Tarka Trail is approx. 20 miles away.
