 Peak Cottage is an owner run cottage and is a Georgian mid terraced stone built cottage which dates back to 1790. It is located 500 yards outside Bakewell Town Centre - fantastic location for discovering Derbyshire with Walks/ Bars/ Restaurants within a 500 yard walk from the cottage!  
  • Peak cottage has been awarded a FOUR STAR British Tourism Award and sleeps 4/5 in 2 bedrooms the third bedroom being an Attic room.
  • Imagine staying in this historic cottage which enjoys an elevated position with far reaching views across the rooftops and the church of this beautiful and highly popular market town of Bakewell - considered to be the Jewel in the Crown at the heart of the Peak District National Park central for the whole of Derbyshire but with excellent restaurants, pubs and parks within a 10 minute walk of the cottage.

Accommodation  
  • A door to the rear leads to a well equipped kitchen/dining room, with wooden Georgian style cottage style units and slate effect tiled floor.
  • The original stairs lead to the two bedrooms, the main bedroom to the front has a 5' king size divan double bed, a decorative fireplace with oak floors and enjoys the views across Bakewell from the bedroom window - you should enjoy a good nights sleep on a firm 5ft king bed with feather pillows (or hypo-allergenic if you prefer!).
  • The second bedroom, to the rear, has a double bed and views across the surrounding fields.
  • A further flight of stairs (accessed from both bedrooms) leads to the second floor in the eaves of the house, with Futon Bed.
  • To the front of the cottage is a second flagged patio sitting out area.
