Originally part of a Victorian Cattle yard, this exceptional ground level cottage has been lovingly converted to a very high standard, it has vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, tiled floors, oak internal doors, soft subtle colours have been used for the decor and furnishings.
  Location - The Lodge is located in the peaceful hamlet of Banister Green which is part of the village of Felsted with its well known private school founded by Richard Lord Rich in 1564 of nearby Leez Priory.
- The cottage provides a secluded and tranquil retreat set back from the village green down a private drive yet within a short walk of the Three Horse Shoes public house set on the green and a mile and a half from the centre of the village of Felsted.
- There are several public houses, shops and restaurants in the village.
- Felsted is conveniently situated for access to Suffolk, Cambridgeshire or London either by car or train from Chelmsford, and is 12 miles from Stansted Airport.
 Accommodation The lodge is a self contained one bed roomed cottage with a large open plan lounge and dining room with a log burning stove, a fully fitted kitchen, a bathroom with bath and separate shower. Outside there is ample parking a garden and courtyard. All prices are inclusive of VAT, linen, towels, heating including fire wood and wireless broadband. Attractions - Amongst the wealth of attractions this part of East Anglia has to offer are numerous pretty villages and market towns locally - Saffron Walden with Audley End mansion, Cambridge, Thaxted and Finchingfield to name but a few.
- There is horse racing at Great Leighs and Newmarket, the RHS Garden at Hyde Hall and the Gardens of Easton Lodge.
