Over Boothlow is a Grade II listed, south facing farmhouse with far reaching views, situated half a mile from the B5053 and about a mile from the village of Longnor. The spa town of Buxton is close by. - The area is a beautifully peaceful, unspoilt green valley with the River Manifold running through it.
- The River Dove flows through the next valley leading to the famous beauty spot of Dovedale.
- Longnor was the location for Cardale in Peak Practice and most recently double as the village of Lambton in Pride & Prejudice.
Accommodation The house is three storeys. Large dining kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer etc. Sitting room has a wood burning stove, tv, dvd, sofas and chairs to accommodate 10. The first floor has 1 double en suite, 1 king en suite and 1 twin with separate bathroom. The second floor has 1 king sized room, 1 twin room and a shared shower room. The house is centrally heated. There is private parking and storage for bikes in the barn. Outside - The garden is south facing with garden furniture and flower beds. The views are down the Manifold Valley, lapwings and skylarks can be heard in the summer.
- Immediate to the garden are 40 acres of agricultural meadowland which are mown in July.
- There is river frontage to the Manifold across the meadow where herons and wild ducks can be seen.
