Canterbury itself is a compact, historic and lively city, a World Heritage site with its beautiful Cathedral and ancient buildings dating back to Roman times. It has two universities, colleges, a popular theatre, shops and cultural activities of many kinds, cafes, pubs and restaurants, all set among medieval streets and pretty gardens, with the countryside never far away. With a central position in East Kent, it combines interest, convenience and relaxation, making an excellent base for holidays, short breaks, business and re-location rentals.

Accommodation
There are three self-contained flats, all on the first (upstairs) floor, retaining the welcoming and restful period style, with high quality furnishings and fittings, and clean, up-to-date facilities. They vary a little in the arrangement of rooms and overall size, each one having a comfortable bedroom, en-suite shower room, sitting area, dining area and kitchenette.

  • All are furnished and decorated in keeping with the Arts-and-Crafts style of unfussy, solid comfort, and cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
  • The house is centrally heated, with individually controlled radiators in every room. Air circulation fans are provided for cooling in hot weather.
  • Bed-linen and towels are supplied and changed weekly, together with weekly cleaning of the apartments.
  • The bedrooms have good quality beds and bedding, with reading lamps and radio/alarm clock, dressing table with mirror and hair drier, and TV with digital tuner.
  • Shower rooms have an efficient plumbed-in shower, WC, washbasin, shaver point and towels. In the kitchenette and dining area there is a small fridge, cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery, tea towels and cloths, table and chairs.
  • The sitting area has a settee or easy chairs, reading lamp, TV and radio/stereo player.
