Enjoy a later summer weekend, often the best time of year for weather and with the heather in full bloom. Check the calendar for availability in September and October, with a minimum of 2 nights.
Fly fishing lessons
If you have always wanted to learn to fish, Dalavich is an excellent place to start. Loch Awe and nearby Loch Avich are famous for brown trout, pike and Arctic Chard. The cabin has fishing rights from the Loch Side and on the other side of the loch there are boats for hire. Fly fishing lessons at nearby Inverawe Country Park.
