Built in the late 19th century, Orchards Cottage is the West Wing of Orchards, the former rectory of Raveningham. Surrounded by 3 acres of delightful gardens it is a beautiful rural retreat. Guests are welcome to enjoy the garden with its extensive borders of shrubs and perennials including many unusual plants. In the summer and autumn there are all sorts of fruit available in the garden, most noteably rasberries, early and late. There are also fruit trees and a large vegetable garden, a duck pond and sunken lake.
 
 The accommodation comprises:
Ground floor: Private entrance from courtyard. Single bedroom. Twin bedded room. Well equipped kitchen. Sitting room / dining room with open fire. First floor: - Double bedroom.
- Bathroom.
Shared facilities include: - Games room with snooker table and table football. Table tennis is also available.
 - Quiet room cum 'Chapel' in the grounds.
- During the summer months croquet and badminton are also on offer.
There are opportunities for walking and exploring the local area, as well as being within easy reach of the Norfolk Broads, Suffolk coast and the Historic cathedral city of Norwich.
