This contemporary and spacious barn conversion is set within the grounds of Chessell Pottery, a small family owned, working pottery nestled at the foot of Brook Down, right in the heart of the unspoilt west Wight countryside. Just minutes from walking and cycling paradise of the famous Tennyson Trail over the downs, a mile from some of the Island's most beautiful beaches and of course with a small pottery, gift barn and cafe serving delicious things right on site.

Accommodation: This stylish renovation sleeps 7, comprising 1 king size, one twin and a small bedroom with single bed on the main upstairs floor, with a further double bedroom upstairs in a cosy separate wing of the house. The upstairs bathroom has a shower over bath and there is an additional ground floor bathroom with power shower and WC, all with bundles of fluffy white towels. The large open plan living space is light and airy, has a lovely fitted Italian style kitchen complete with washing machine, tumble drier, large family-size fridge freezer, dish washer and contemporary oak kitchen table (seats 8). The kitchen is supplied with beautiful Emma Bridgewater crockery. The living space incorporates a comfortable lounge seating area with large leather sofa and armchairs, plus wood-burning stove. In a separate private wing of the property (close to the downstairs shower room) there is a lovely upstairs bedroom with spiral staircase and below it a further sitting area with leather sofa and wall mounted 42" Flat screen TV/DVD. These stairs would be unsuitable for the elderly or infirm. Each side of the property there are private enclosed courtyard gardens, seating areas and easy parking. Local area: - The West Wight countryside is a perfect base for walking, cycling and sight seeing. The ancient harbour town of Yarmouth is only a ten minute drive away.
- From The Old Stables you can easily access the Tennyson Trail over the downs to Freshwater Bay and the Needles, with Brook and Compton beaches famous for surfing just 1.5 miles away. This is a totally unspoilt part of the Island where you are never really very far away from anything!
