Located at the end of a no-through road, with an abundance of wildlife and a wealth of good walks in the area, it is ideally situated as it is within close proximity to a footpath within easy walking distance of the Kingcombe Nature Reserve and the Kingcombe Centre.

Toller Porcorum is situated, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty close to the beautiful 'Jurassic Heritage Coast' and Weymouth, and is an ideal base for visiting Burton Bradstock, West Bay, Bridport, Beaminster, Dorchester, historic Roman town, Weymouth, Lyme Regis, Abbotsbury, with its famous swannery and tropical gardens, Cerne Abbas, Eggardon Hill, many National Trust properties and fine gardens.
The neighbouring village has grocery shops, newsagents, coffee shop, public house and garage.
Many of the local pubs are well renowned for their excellent food, beer and their warm welcome.
