This detached single storey timber cottage sleeps 2. The cottage is extremely comfortable and well furnished with a spacious open plan living/dining/kitchen area with multi fuel stove, one double bedroom and a shower room. Outside there is a decked area where you can relax after a hard days play and enjoy the sound of the burn. Heaven!! - Whether you want a truly active holiday or just an opportunity to switch off for a few days this is an ideal location, just 1.5 hrs drive from Glasgow.
- Portsonachan means Port of Peace in Gaelic, and the setting for this beautiful wee cottage is spectacular. The cottage stands beside the Allt Baan Burn surrounded by mature trees with tremendous views of Loch Awe and Ben Cruachan.
 - Nature is on the doorstep with Deer and Heron being regular visitors, and the owners have watched Wild Brown Trout spawning in the pools of the Burn.

Out & About - Hire a boat at Ardbrecknish for fishing or visit the many little islands on the loch. Loch Awe currently holds the UK Brown Trout record.
- The beautiful village of Inverary is only 13 miles away and offers a good selection of small shops and tourist attractions.
- Oban, the Gateway to the Isles, is only 30 miles away with good shopping and dining facilities and many tourist attractions.
- There are Golf courses nearby, the nearest being the 9 hole course at Dalmally.
- The Argyll area offers great walking and hillwalking or for the more adventurous white water rafting on the River Orchy and Munro bagging.
- Ben Cruachan hydro power station is worth a visit with tours inside the mountain plus a cafe and shop.
