Old Mill Farm is a large 17thC Farmhouse situated next to the village common and windmill close to the Norfolk / Suffolk border.
 The holiday cottage forms a self contained wing which is partially converted from an old barn and the whole is set in over 4 acres of grounds, much of which is meadowland dotted with wild flowers providing a haven for wildlife including rabbits, pheasants and even the occasional deer as well as the owner's assorted chickens and Griselda the Goose!
The accommodation, which is all on the ground floor, comprises a large sitting/dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms - one double and one twin (both of which overlook the windmill), bathroom and a small utility area.
There is oil central heating throughout, microwave, electric cooker, fridge, automatic washing machine, colour TV, video and home theatre system. All heating, electricity, bedlinen and towels are included.
The cottage is Non-Smoking.
Camping Option
For a small additional charge, private camping is available for two more people in the adjacent meadow just yards from the cottage - an interesting adventure for the children while parents enjoy their home comforts!
With its beams, cottage doors, pine furniture, bygones, books, games and videos the cottage has a warm welcoming atmosphere.
There are many places of interest within a 10 minute drive including Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens, Banham Zoo, Thetford Forest and Knettishall Heath Country Park, whilst the fascinating Suffolk coastline, Norfolk Broads and the historic cities of Norwich and Cambridge make for interesting day trips.
The whole region is typified by quiet meandering lanes and sleepy, picturesque villages.
