This cottage provides comfortable accommodation in this 200 year old converted water mill. The cottage retains many of the mill's original features. It is very well equipped making an ideal family holiday cottage. It is situated in the heart of the village of Rosedale Abbey in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and is close to Whitby were Captain Cook sailed from to Australia.

Rosedale is a popular destination for walkers to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Other popular tourist attractions include the North Yorks Moors Steam Railway in Pickering, Goathland, home of ITV's Heartbeat series, the historic city of York, Flamingoland and the Yorkshire Coast is only a short drive away.

  • Although this cottage has the facility to comfortably sleep 7, we would recommend it is more suited to a family of 5 or 6 as the dining area accommodates 6.
This picturesque village has two village pubs in walking distance with restaurants providing varied menus. There is also a general store and a tea room.
