With double glazing and central heating, this makes an ideal retreat throughout the year. We are beautifully situated on a traditional Lakeland farm, overlooking St.John's beck, surrounded by 50 acres of meadow and woodland. It is ideal for walking, touring or simply enjoying the peace, tranquillity and abundant wildlife of the area.
Star filled skies are spectacular, as we have no light pollution. Our Woodland Trail helps you to appreciate both the views and variety of wildlife that live on the farm. Come and spot our red squirrels, deer, badgers, dippers, kingfisher, herons, otters, owls and bats to name but a few.
The accommodation consists of: Entrance hall. Bathroom with modern toilet, washbasin, bath and shower. Twin bedded room (all linen included for 4 people). Open plan kitchen / dining / living room. The kitchen is exceedingly well equipped with fridge and ice compartment, full size calor cooker, microwave, and an ample supply of cutlery, locally hand thrown crockery, pots and pans. There is a double sofa bed too. Use of washing machine and tumble drier. There is ample off road parking for 2 cars outside your accommodation. Keswick is 6 miles away, offering a fully range of shops, pubs, restaurants, leisure pool, climbing wall, museums, theatre and cinema. Sailing, canoeing, pony trekking and golf are also nearby.
