This charming cottage, although only a five minute walk to the village has a relaxed country, fresh feel. The stone end was the "the old weaving cottage" where Johnny hand wove his tweed, a piece of which he exhibited at the World Trade Fair, Munich 1958 and won the gold medal.

Europes highest sea cliff's (the majestic Sleive League at 300m above sea level) are only 10-15 minutes away.
Or perhaps you would choose to go on some of the many mountain walks in the area, coastal drives or simply to laze on some of the beaches which are a four minute drive away.
There is a wealth of traditional Irish music in the area which you will experience in the cosy taverns while enjoying the local way of life.
You can wine and dine in several fine restaurants in the locality which offer cuisine to suit all tastes, some of which have fabulous views.
