 For a taste of rural Lincolnshire and country living at its best Oaklands Retreat offers a relaxing atmosphere set in delightful private gardens with patio and BBQ facilities. The cottage is set midway between the Cathedral city of Lincoln and historic market town of Newark. Both places can be reached by car within 15-20 minutes.
Oaklands is ideally placed for country pursuits such as cycling, walking, fishing and visiting the various nature reserves. You can explore the Lincolshire coast and Nottinghamshire's Robin Hood country. Sample the many village pubs and restaurants close by, offering a wide choice of cuisine.
 Accommodation Oaklands Retreat offers quality accommodation for up to five people, with comfortable double, twin, and single bedrooms together with corner bath seperate W.C. and shower. There is a fully equiped kitchen and utility room leading into the dining room. The sitting room has a wide screen TV, DVD, video and CD player with surround sound, and the living flame fire creats a cosy relaxed atmosphere. There is central heating throughout the cottage and all linen and towels are provided. Each room in the cottage has wonderful views of the garden and open countryside, creating a real sense of freedom. Parking is within the grounds. On your arrival there will be a welcome basket of initial groceries for you to enjoy.
