This stunning and stylish 17th century Lakeland cottage in the beautiful Duddon Valley combines traditional comfort and charm with every modern convenience.

  

• Oak beams, an inglenook fireplace with log-burning stove and piles of books and games are matched by a large, fully fitted kitchen/breakfast room with dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave and everything you'd have at home.
• In the spacious sitting room you can curl up on big sofas by the fire and watch Sky television, play DVDs or just relax and listen to your favourite CDs.
• Upstairs you'll find four light and airy bedrooms: two double, one with en-suite, and two twins with gorgeous brass bedsteads.

Outside you can sit in the walled garden and listen to the river rushing by. With ample parking, this quiet and private cottage is at the heart of one of the most beautiful and least touristy parts of the Lake District, with a post office and stores within walking distance and the popular Newfield Inn in the other direction.
