Superior barn conversion with interesting features situated in quiet rural location, having wonderful views over open countryside to woodland and hills beyond. Half a mile from the picturesque village of Hawkshead which has Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth connections together with inns providing good food. Excellent walks from the door including the famous beauty spot, Tarn Hows.
Accommodation The dining area adjoins the kitchen, which is fitted with electric cooker, microwave, refrigerator and all necessary equipment and utensils. There is a twin-bedded room and a double bedroom next to the pretty shower room. The whole of the 1st floor of this former barn has been carefully renovated to a very high standard providing comfortable accommodation of charm and character. Many of the old oak and pine features have been retained and there is an old stone fireplace. Cot and high chair available. Log burner. Cot, wood for the fire available at extra cost. Location - There is fishing nearby on Esthwaite Lake and boating on Coniston Water (we can also store your boat by prior arrangement).
