 An old, detached farmhouse which is beautifully situated in completely peaceful and unspoiled rural surroundings, with magnificent views of Derbyshire's spectacular White Peak country on every side.
The farmhouse offers simple accomodation: Open plan living room, sitting/dining room with fireplace and kitchen. Oven, microwave, electric cooker, pantry with refrigerator and washing machine. Upstairs 3 bedrooms: 2 double and 1 with 2 single beds, cot provided. Modern bathroom with bath, basin and WC. Facilities:  Heating during winter by central heating (free), in the summer by open fire (free). You are supposed to leave the cottage as you found it, however cleaning can be arranged (chargeable). Pets are accepted if kept in kitchen/dining room and outside under strict control because of sheep in adjoining fields. Immersion heater, freezer, dish washer, parking, children welcome, garden and furniture, black and white TV, HiFi system with radio, tape deck and CD player. Location: - A paradise for walkers, the Nook is situated close to the Minning Low and High Peak trails for cycling and walking.
- Dovedale is within easy reach.
- The fine stately homes of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are nearby as are the attractive villages of Ashbourne and Bakewell.
- The elegant town and Spa of Buxton (Summer festival) is only 10 miles away.
