Nith Cottage provides a luxurious base for touring south west Scotland. Nith cottage had it's second inspection (19/03/07)from the Scottish Tourist Board and achieved a 5 star grading. Due to the costs involved we no longer have the cottage graded, passing the saving onto guests. Please be assured that the high standards will be maintained. View notice page for guests comments.
Many extras are fitted in the cottage that are not normally found in self catering accomodation, if you have any specific requirements, please enquire.

Wow! This cottage is beautiful – so clean and definitely lives up to the web site pics (so many easily deceive) The cottage is very luxurious & so peaceful. Loved the fire and views. Lovely cottage, stayed with our 7 month old daughter & having cot/high chair here made it very easy. Loved the great fireplace and Amy particularly liked the bath! It would be great to be here in summer to make use of lovely outside area as well. Having stayed in many holiday cottages it’s so useful to have some basics provided, i.e. tea bags, salt, pepper, foil etc. – it’s the small touches and they really were appreciated. Very nice cottage. Had a good week, with 2 very warm days. Dumfries House was an interesting morning. Kids liked Edinburgh Castle and the visit to the parliament.
