Mulberry Cottage is a cosy yet spacious holiday retreat with a large garden central to the soft Suffolk countryside and ideally placed for all Suffolk's visitor attractions.
Deep in the countryside and with a large garden, Mulberry Cottage is only 10 minutes from the dual-carriageway A14. With a timber frame base, the cottage is a warm centrally-heated character country home but only 15 minutes, on the A14, from historic Bury St Edmunds to the West and Ipswich to the East. The coast is just 30 minutes distant by A14 dual carriageway and Suffolk's Heritage Coast about 45 minutes easy-drive away. Suffolk's Scenic Route, the A1120 (with Birds of Prey Centre, Teapot pottery, vineyards and much more), is accessed in some 12 minutes and River Stour and 'Constable Country' is reached easily. Mulberry Cottage has the ideal location for a combined peaceful English countryside vacation and Olympic visit. Easy dual carriage drive ALL the way (except for first 6.5 miles) to the Olympic site by A14, A11, M11, A12 or fast train Stowmarket to London terminus Liverpool Street only 90 minutes. We offer advice on Olympic travel.
