A secluded, idyllic, cosy riverside cottage in the Brecon Beacons National Park, nestling at the foot of the Sugar Loaf Mountain, Moy Mel overlooks its own 6 acre meadow bisected by the river Grwyne Fawr.  - Wonderful walking in the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons and there are many other activities locally.
- Equidistant between Abergavenny and Crickhowell with the renowned Bear Hotel and several other good pubs and restaurants close by.
- Trout Fishing on the Grwyne Fawr river and tennis on our own court by arrangement.
- Alternatively, just relax in Moy Mel's beautiful grounds or by the river.
Accommodation Fully double-glazed and centrally heated. Three bedrooms. Beds made up ready for arrival. Kitchen/dining area opens to sitting room with log fire, colour TV, books and games. Well equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, electric hob, combination microwave oven/grill. Oil-fired Rayburn ("Roger") for cooking, hot water and central heating. Fridge/freezer and washing machine. Bathroom with bath, power shower over bath, and WC. Oil for Roger, electricity and logs for sitting room fire inclusive. Bedroom 1 - 5ft double bed.
Bedroom 2 - twin beds.
Bedroom 3 - single bed.
Duvets, bed linen, towels, tea towels, etc are all provided.
Double doors from sitting room open out onto sunny lawn which is separated by a Ha-Ha wall from Moy Mel's own riverside meadow to which Moy Mel's guests have free access. South facing conservatory, garden table, chairs and barbecue. Mature garden.
Dogs welcome, but this is definitely sheep country and sheep graze the meadow much of the time! Payphone, ample self-contained parking.
