 Character Cottage in the heart of Lerryn
Mote Cottage has much charm, with low ceilings, exposed beams, natural wood and stripped pine features. It is spacious, fully furnished and equipped to a high standard to accommodate up to five people. Ground floor: entrance lobby, fully fitted kitchen, utility room with WC and washbasin, open plan living room/dining room. First floor: two large double bedrooms, one with double bed and one with twin beds as well as a spacious bathroom. A folding bed can be used in the twin bedroom. Outside, the private courtyard is a suntrap, enabling you to have many meals al fresco from Easter to September. A wooden shed provides ideal storage for fishing rods, walking boots, body boards etc. Parking in the drive for one car. Equipment includes gas hob and double oven; microwave; dishwasher; American style fridge/freezer; TV & video Player; hi-fi system; garden furniture.  
Location - The pretty village of Lerryn nestles in a peaceful valley and is surrounded by woodland and farmland. The woods on either side of the river are beautiful and ideal for long walks and are believed to have been the inspiration for Kenneth Grahame's "Tales of the Riverbank".
- The river is tidal and the cottage is situated 30 yards from one of the two riverside greens and its well-photographed picturesque bridge. This is a favourite spot for residents and holidaymakers alike: the artists who want to capture this unique landscape in oil or watercolour; the anglers hoping to catch mullet on the rising tide; all those who simply want to enjoy the views and relax in this peaceful setting.
- Lerryn is also extremely popular with hikers who come and enjoy our wonderful landscape from January to December.
- We are an ideal base for those who want to visit the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lanhydrock Gardens and Estate, Fowey, Mevagissey, Polperro, Padstow, Jamie Oliverís Fifteen etc.
Other information: Saturday to Saturday rental. Prices include electricity, gas and oil central heating as well as the price of local calls. We provide bed linen and tea towels, so all you need to bring are flannels and towels. We also provide you with the basics (washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, soaps etc). Sorry no pets and no smoking.
