 Monks Retreat Apartment forms part of Manor Farm House, at one time a medieval grange run by the monks of the nearby Hinton Priory. The property stands proudly, with its 17th century facade, in a peaceful lane in the heart of the historic village of Norton St.Phillip.
The accommodation provides the peace and tranquility of the countryside, yet is just a fifteen minute drive from the hustle and bustle of Bath.
The apartment is spacious, very well furnished and equipped, and is steeped in history. Totally self contained, you enter through your own courtyard garden, elm studded medieval door, and up to the beamed ceilings and excellent views from Monks Retreat.
The local Inns (there are 2 to choose from)serve excellent food and are only a three minute stroll. The George is reputed to be the oldest Inn in England. This is the perfect hideaway for your holiday in this beautiful village. The accommodation is of the highest standard.
