BUDE MINESHOP COTTAGES, Crackington Haven.
Our delightful cosy Cottages are situated in the heart of a peaceful, wooded valley, a short walk through the meadows and woodland footpath from the spectacular Beach at Crackington Haven, located between Boscastle and Bude on the North Cornwall Coast, in an area designated to be of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The Old Shippon - tastefully converted from the Old Milking Parlour and is situated in its own grounds on the banks of the stream which leads its way through the valley to the Beach at Crackington Haven.

The Accommodation consists of One Double and Two Twin Bedrooms, which can accomodate upto 6 Guests. An entrance porch. Fully equipped Kitchen with microwave, cooker, toaster,fridge with ice box. Open planned dining area and lounge with glowing woodburning stove, (logs and coal are available nearby). Digital TV with Freeview and video player, Bathroom with electric shower and bath. In the Colder months guests have the free use of the Night Storage Heaters. This property has its own private garden and a gated decked area which overlooks the garden and woodland. Private Parking for The Old Shippon is directly outside this property.

The Old Smithy has been converted from the Old Blacksmiths Shop, it retains a lot of its Character with its beamed ceilings and thick walls, situated on the banks of the steam, in its own private enclosed Garden, this Cottage is very peaceful and private.

The Old Smithy has one double and one bunk bedroom, which can accommodate upto 4 guests. Open Plan lounge and dining area, with digital television, leather furniture suite. Fully equipped kitchen area, with fridge and ice box, microwave, full sized oven, toaster, and kettle. Bathroom which has a Bath, but no shower. Iron and ironing board, Electric heaters in all rooms and for the colder months we offer free us of the storage heaters which make this cottage cosy and warm at all times of the year.

Mineshop Miners Cottages stand in 14 acres of peaceful woodland. An easy 1 mile stroll along the stunning valley footpath, through the meadows and woodland, which leads to the spectacular Beach at Crackington Haven, where guests can also find a good local Pub overlooking the sea, and two fabulous cafes. The village stores are located 1 & 2 miles away.

The Cottages all have a gated balcony or patio area, which offer a very private space to sunbathe or simply relax whilst enjoying the wonderful views over the Fields and/or Woodland which is alive with many kinds of wildlife such as Badgers, Foxes, Squirrels, Deer, Rabbits and Birds of Prey, such as Buzzards, Owls and even the occasional Peregrine Falcon. These Cottages are very secluded and private.

The Miners Cottages each have one Double and one Twin bedroom, accommodating up to 4 Guests, if a Cot is required then please ask to book either Garyvoe or Parada Cottages. The rest of the Accommodation consists of an entrance porch, Open Plan Lounge and Dining room with flat screen television and dvd player. Leather furniture suites. Fully equipped kitchen area, with fridge with ice box, microwave, full sized oven, toaster, kettle. Bathroom with electric shower and full sized bath. Iron and ironing board, electric heaters in all rooms and for those colder months free night storage heaters which make these cottages cosy and warm all year around.

Facilities

There is a shared Laundry room onsite, with payphone as Mobile coverage is sporadic in this area.
Well behaved dogs are more than welcome and have the unrestricted use of all our Fields, Woodland and Streams, which makes Mineshop the ideal location for your pet to enjoy some freedom.
