Mill Cottage is a grade II listed holiday cottage in Briantspuddle on the River Piddle in Dorset's Hardy country about 8 miles East of Dorchester. The village is in the Purbeck rural conservation area and is stunningly beautiful. The cottage lies at the end of an unmade track on the edge of the village in about an acre with about 80 yards of river frontage. Its location and tasteful restoration, preserving ancient history with modern comfort are its major charms. The Piddle is a natural chalk stream, clear enough to drink and with a good population of wild brown trout.

Accommodation
  • There are three bedrooms upstairs, all doubles and all ensuite. One of them can be made into a twin on request.
  • Downstairs there is one double/or twin with a walk in wet room and one twin in the studio which is ensuite. These rooms are suitable for those with disabled needs or those wishing to avoid stairs.
