A six mile walk from the mill takes in Malham Cove, Gordale Scar, Janet's Foss and a return along the Pennine Way.
A large collection of David Hockney's work can be seen at Salts Mill, Shipley, near Bradford - a wonderful place to visit on a wet day.
Social tennis can be arranged at a local club throughout the year (weather permitting).
Bellringers are welcome to join practices at all the local towers.
Golf is also available a 20 minute drive away and at other courses.
3 and 4 nights can be booked out of the main season.

I think we would consider this one of our best holidays - comfortable well equipped apartment, wonderful views, an abundance of wildlife to feed our interest in birds and wildflowers, and very friendly people. It is our first visit to the Yorkshire Dales and we can't wait to come back.

A wonderful week in a lovely apartment set in beautiful surroundings. We managed every walk we'd planned and most could be done from base. We know the area well but will be back again to soak up the scenery in this perfect setting.

A wonderful holiday. Lots of walks and sights to see, and the view is so lovely and tranquil. We loved feeding the many varieties of birds that came to the feeder too and the apartment is very spacious and clean, just perfect.

This was our second visit to Mill Top this year and we found new walks and new place of interest to visit, as well as re-visitng old places with happy memories.
There are so many good places to eat too, with gluten-free menus, and the sense of community and breathtaking scenery will draw us back again I'm sure.

This was our first visit to this part of Yorkshire and it certainly won't be our last. Beautiful scenery, superb walking and the accommodation was excellent. Who could ask for more!

Had a wonderful relaxing week. The apartment is well equipped, very comfortable and set in beautiful surroundings. Arrived early on Saturday and visited Malham Show which was very good. Hope to return again.

... And they did and went to the show again in 2014.
What a little gem this place is. One can easily forget the world outside. Lovely walks to Malham Cove, Gordale Scar and Janet's Foss. Visited Settle for the first time and took the train to Carlisle. A must! Hope to return again, loved the freedom and tranquility.

Thank you for renting us your fab pad!
The beautiful views all around,
No better place can be found.
Off down the lane to the Victoria pub,
For ever such lovely grub!

What a wonderful place to stay.

Our third holiday in Mill Top and, hopefully, not our last. The flat as usual was homely and welcoming. The weather was kind and we walked every day.
J & P, Birmingham
What a great place for a holiday. There are lovely views from every window in the apartment, which was very clean and everything that you would want was here.
R & R, Brighton
A delightful week spent in this first-rate accommodation. The views alone would have made our stay, but the grounds, the birds and the lovely walks proved very restorative. Thank you.

Beautiful apartment with incredible views and it couldn't be better placed for walking. We also discovered 'Yorkshire Chorizo' at Town End Farm Shop and Cafe at Airton. Try the garlic and oregano; you won't regret it!

And finally ...
For excellent food and good ale try walking to the Victoria Inn at the end of the road. 'The best steaks in the UK!' (And noted for its fish and chips!)
