This beautifully renovated traditional cottage is set in its own mature garden and retains its original charm and character. Sleeps up to 6 people comfortably. Enjoys spectacular south facing views across Coverdale. Serves as a peaceful haven or ideal base for an activity holiday, at any time of the year. Well-behaved pets are welcome.

  • Spacious open plan ground floor with exposed stone walls, wooden floors and beams. Consists of living room with wood burning stove and adjoining dining room. Complete entertainment system with TV, video, DVD player, mini hi-fi system, games, books, maps and tourist information.
  • Newly fitted kitchen contains fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and hob, toaster, electric kettle and pantry.
  • Two generous double bedrooms and two single bedrooms, all beautifully decorated with plenty of storage space and superb views. Bedlinen and towels provided.
  • Bathroom with bath and shower, second toilet downstairs.
  • Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Plenty of secure storage for bikes and buggies.
  • Mature, lawned garden with garden furniture, dog-proof and ample parking.
  • High chair and travel cot are available on request.
  • All bills and electricity included.

Location  

  • Situated in the tranquil village of Melmerby. Close to countless attractions to suit everyone's interests including vibrant historic market towns, stately homes, castles, children's activities, local festivals.
  • A superb choice of good local places to eat and drink. There is a great pub a mile up the road and an excellent range of eateries and shops in nearby Middleham and Leyburn.
  • The perfect base for exploring the Dales by foot, bike or car. An extensive network of footpaths can be accessed from the village.
  • Further afield there are the market towns of Grassington, Hawes, Masham, and Richmond, with Harrogate, Skipton, York, the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, Leeds, Bronte Country and the Lakes all within an hour's drive.
