• All the rooms are spacious and bright and the house is well equipped with all modern conveniences. These include luxurious corner baths, digital TV, DVD player, stereo CD player with ipod dock and a dishwasher.
• The farmhouse sleeps up to 6 in 3 spacious bedrooms (two double and one large twin). The main bedroom is en-suite and features a corner bath.
• There is also a further bathroom with a corner bath and shower, plus a generous shower room.
• The bright and spacious beamed farmhouse kitchen provides all the conveniences of modern living and has a large dining area.
• The main reception room is spacious and oak beamed, with the original stone fireplace and a cosy log-burning stove. There is comfortable seating for six people to relax around the fire and a large dining table at the far end of the room.
• In the garden at the front of the house there is seating for 6 and a barbecue.
• Rentals are inclusive of all bedding, towels, electricity and oil, plus fuel for the fire.
• There is off street parking for 3 vehicles and safe cycle storage.

Location  

• Our village, which is in a conservation area, still has its traditional pub which serves good meals, plus a village shop/tea rooms for newspapers and essential food items.
• The location, only 25 mins off the M6 and 5 mins from the A66, makes Dufton an ideal base from which to explore the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, Hadrians Wall and Southern Scotland, as well as the many and varied walks/cycle rides from the doorstep.

We have an additional property which sleeps 4 and has a lovely view of the Pennines, that you can see on our own website.
