 THIS BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED flint cottage is situated on a quiet lane which leads out of the village of Westleton towards Minsmere and the coast. The village is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty almost exactly half-way between Southwold and Aldeburgh and two-and-a-half miles from the sea. It has a large green, a thirteenth-century thatched church, and two pubs. It also has a village shop and a thriving second-hand bookshop.
Accommodation The cottage is light and airy. Built in 1840, it has been painstakingly renovated, with many of the original features, including the crooked fireplace beam and the latched cottage doors, carefully preserved. The interior is well thought out, elegant and stylish. The south-facing conservatory/dining-room can be sunny and warm even in winter and is the ideal place for lingering over meals. The cottage sleeps three in two bedrooms and has full central heating and a wood-burning stove. FROM THE VISITORS' BOOK
