Sedbergh is a stunning place surrounded by breathtaking scenery. It is part of Cumbria yet in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. An undiscovered paradise where you can walk without the crowds on Wainwright's favourite Fells, The Howgills. Sedbergh is steeped in history and full of character and is now England's Book Town. It is on the Dales Way and the Pennine Cycleway.
Merlin Cottage is bright, cosy and welcoming. Very convenient for shops, pubs and takeaways yet within minutes of the Fells. It is an ideal base for touring either the Dales or the Lakes.
