 This newly converted barn is situated in a remote and idyllic location within the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and provides basic accommodation with fabulous views across the Somerset Levels towards Glastonbury Tor. - It is ideal for walkers, cavers, cyclists, horse riders, naturalists, artists and anyone who hankers after the simple life or who wants to get away from it all.
- The track up to the field is not suitable for cars, and the nearest parking is 250 metres from the barn. Alternatively, cars may be left at the owners' house in the village, from where guests and any heavy luggage can be transferred by Land Rover.
GROUND FLOOR
Open-plan sitting and dining area with futon settee/bed, kitchen units, sink, microwave and gas rings. Shower room with WC.
 UPSTAIRS
Sleeping gallery with double bed and chest of drawers.
SLEEPS 2-4
The open-plan layout makes it best suited for two people, but a futon sofa makes it accommodate up to 2 more. There is also space near the barn for a limited number of tents. Cot and high chair available.
PRICING
The barn is available for short breaks at a nightly rate for two people, plus a supplement for extra guests.
Prices are inclusive of gas, but do not include towels and linen.
Guests should bring their own sleeping bags, pillows cases and towels.
If you are unable to do this, they can be supplied at an extra charge.
 NOTE that cooking facilities are limited (two gas rings, microwave oven and a BBQ). However, the village pub has an extensive menu and is within easy walking distance from the barn. There is also a wider range of pubs and restaurants a few miles away in neigbouring towns and villages.
