 Meldon Park was built for Isaac Cookson in 1832 by the architect John Dobson and to this day, is still the home of the Cookson family. Situated in fantastic unspoilt countryside, within easy reach of NT properties, Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Hadrian's Wall, Holy Island, all coastal attractions and much more... - Ideal for couples and families.
- Guests have access to the private grounds and the surrounding land (over 4000 acres) which offers extensive woodland walks along the banks of the River Wansbeck.
- The tranquillity of the kitchen garden and grounds, the elegance and grandeur of the house provide a venue for a relaxing and inspiring holiday.
- Meldon is ideally situated for golfing, fishing, riding and sailing. Or you may prefer visiting country homes and gardens, bird watching or a leisurely drive around the countryside. Why not bring your horse(s) on holiday and go wild in the country.
Accommodation  Meldon Park has its own separate entrance, sleeping 2 to 4 people, ideal for couples or small families. It is furnished to the highest standards of comfort and offers central heating, television and video. Meldon Park comprises: entrance hall, sitting room with woodburning stove (logs provided), sofas and dining table and chairs, kitchen with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and tumble dryer. Upstairs: bedroom one with twin beds, bedroom two with a double bed (all bedding and bed linen supplied), bathroom with bath and shower (towels supplied) and an airing cupboard.  Dining and shopping could not be more convenient with a highly acclaimed restaurant and a delicatessen farm shop situated within the grounds at Meldon Park.
