 Meadow Barn is an ancient cob walled cow stall which was sympathetically restored to a very high standard in 2006. Oak joinery and terracotta tiled floors throughout benefit from electric underfloor heating for warm, dry rooms and toasty feet! - Daylight floods into the property through six rooflights in the high vaulted ceilings of the principal rooms providing a feeling of fresh air and spaciousness.
- Meadow Barn nestles among the thatched cottages of an historic no through road at the edge of the hamlet of East Burton and adjoins the open farmland and sheep meadows of the River Frome.
 - East Burton lies on the periphery of the Isle of Purbeck, a highly acclaimed Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our nearest beach is the world famous Lulworth Cove 5 miles away on the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site. The coastal walks here are simply outstanding.
Accommodation Sleeps up to four adults (and/or children!) in comfort in a double bedroom and a bunk bedroom housing a 3' wide overheight bunk bed for even the largest of guests! Bathroom (with shower over). Lounge/diner with woodburner. Modern kitchen. Fully equipped separate utility room. Enclosed south facing patio garden with BBQ and picnic table. Ideal for those days when travelling to the beach is all too much and a peaceful read with a crisp glass of Pino Grigio is what is really needed. Local Amenities - Our local pub, the Seven Stars, is a 7-minute stroll but go there hungry as the menu is extensive and the servings are very, very generous.
