 Luxury Lake District self-catering holiday homes at the entrance to the Langdale valley. These Cumbria cottages are situated in the unspoilt village of Elterwater and are set in well-landscaped, mature gardens and have fine views across the fields to the beck and towards the fells. Built of stone and slate, Meadow Bank is an exceptional property, which has been completely renovated and beautifully furnished throughout.
The Main House has: 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms: There are 2 doubles (with 5ft beds) and 2 twin rooms. There are also 2 guest beds in the 2nd sitting room. A cot is also provided, as is a high chair. The large kitchen has farmhouse pine units and a quarry tiled floor. Integrated appliances include an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, waste disposer and a drying cabinet for wet walking gear. The central feature of the main living room is the fireplace built in elterwater stone. Sky TV is provided and there are additional TVs in the sitting room and in the main bedroom. The Garden Cottage: This is a separate unit within the grounds, which can be rented separately or together with the main house to provide extra accommodation for 2 people. Membership of the Langdale Leisure Club with pool is included (except 4pm-6.30pm).
