Marmaduke is an end of row stone cottage at the end of a 'No Through Lane', built around the 18th century. It is located in the pleasant village of Drimpton, just 4 miles from Beaminster and 9 miles from the beach.

Sitting room with log burning stove, digital colour TV, digibox and DVD player.
Wi-Fi. Telephone.
Kitchen/diner with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Door to garden.
New bathroom installed April 2009 with bath, shower, WC and basin.
Master bedroom with iron double bed.
Bedroom with 2 twin beds.
Bedroom with single bed with TV/DVD player.

The secluded south facing enclosed garden is up steps at a higher level.

Oil fired central heating throughout.
All bed linen and towels provided.
Electricity and oil included in price quoted.
Parking for 1 car.

Location

Drimpton is a delightful stone built village lying amongst the beautiful rolling countryside of West Dorset and is a gateway to the glorious Jurassic Coastline. Just a few minutes walk from the cottage The Royal Oak pub serves good wholesome food. Nearest shop 1 mile.
The whole area is excellent for walking with the historic Monarch's Way and a dramatic range of hills topped by Iron Age forts.
Beaminster the nearest small town has a range of specialist shops. In late June it hosts a music and visual arts festival.
It is 9 miles to the shingle beach at Eype, from where you can walk over the cliffs to the beach at West Bay with its newly developed harbour, and drive to Burton Bradstock for delicious hot chocolate!
Why not try fossil hunting on the superb sandy beach at Charmouth or Lyme Regis.

Cottage change over day for weekly bookings is Friday to Friday.
