MANOR HOUSE COTTAGE
Manor House Cottage is a delightful, spacious single storey cottage situated on the edge of Newick village in a Conservation Area and within the grounds of the owner's 16th century timber framed Grade 2* listed manor house. Very peaceful setting next to beautiful 11th century sandstone church.
The cottage faces south, has its own secluded and enclosed garden, and is equipped to a high standard. Fully centrally heated it is warm and comfortable in winter and all heating costs, linen and towels are included in the price. It provides a convenient base for visiting many of Sussex's beautiful houses and gardens. Sheffield Park, Borde Hill, Wakehurst Place, Nymans, Bluebell Railway, Pooh Corner and the South of England showground at Ardingly are all nearby. Glyndebourne is only about 8 miles away and with the ticket returns system (sometimes you can get tickets literally hours before the performance) guests have been able to see some wonderful operas in the quintessentially English manner!
