Quay Place was part of a working quayside for over 150 years; now it is a waterside holiday destination in an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty". Quay Place and its two holiday apartments lie on the banks of Bow Creek, a tidal tributary of the River Dart in South Devon.
Mallard Cottage is named after the friendly mallards that frequent the area, and Wharf Corner after the creekside wharf that Quay Place used to serve.
