The Mains Cottages in Carradale is an exceptional wee holiday steading situated in part of the original home farm of Carradale estate.

There are two small cottages - Colin's Cottage and Douglas Cottage - which are ideally suited for couples or singles. Each cottage has:

A large bed sitting room with integral kitchen and, in the style of Scottish bothies, the double bed is a snug 'box bed' arrangement tucked into its own recess and curtained off.
Roomy hall, fabulous bathroom, and absolutely all mod cons including WiFi complete the picture.
Although small, the perfectly executed design and welcoming atmosphere make these a perfect base for exploring Kintyre.

Mhairi's Cottage is a larger traditional family cottage that takes four. Unashamedly old-fashioned in spirit with:

A comfy living room with woodburning stove.
We have sneaked in a modern kitchen and bathroom to make life easy.
Opening out to a view across fields to the sea, this is very safe for children and pets.

Ten minutes walk to shops, village facilities, and golf course. About as far to a perfect sandy beach. Miles of forest walks on the door step.

All cottages available for any length of stay, minimum 3 nights, any days of the week.
