Maesnewydd Cottage is situated in the beautiful Vrnwy Valley, near the pretty village of Meifod, near Welshpool. This stone cottage has been newly refurbished to a high standard, and is set close to the river Vrnwy, with beautiful open country all around. This area is ideal for relaxing, with plenty of walking and cycling. Private fishing can be provided with prior arrangement. As well as just relaxing, this is an ideal base to tour the local area, with Lake Vrnwy and Powis castle nearby. Also within easy reach are the historic towns of Shrewsbury, Ironbridge, Oswestry, Wrexham and Chester. The coast is approximately 45 minutes away.

Accommodation

Downstairs is an open plan living area with a modern well equipped kitchen. This includes an electric oven and hob, integrated fridge, washing machine and microwave. There is also use of a tumble dryer and a freezer if required.
Upstairs is a large double or twin bedroom with a large built in wardrobe, and a modern newly fitted bathroom with WC, bath and wash basin.
A cot and feeding chair is available on request.
All electricity, bed linen and towels are included in the price.

Outside

There is plenty of storage space for bicycles etc, and ample parking right outside the cottage.
The property is surrounded by gardens, with access to a barbecue and plenty of garden furniture for al fresco dining.

Pets
Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement, BUT PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THERE ARE FREE RANGING CHICKENS ON THE PROPERTY, AS WELL AS LIVESTOCK IN ADJACENT FIELDS, so we ask that dogs are kept on a lead at all times whilst on the property or in the gardens.
