This converted barn lies tucked away in a tiny secluded valley at the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, between Bainbridge and Askrigg. It occupies a beautiful, south facing site, with walks in every direction, and is an excellent centre for visitors wanting to tour the Dales. The owners' traditional Dales farm is close by, and visitors are always welcome to watch the milking or lambing, shearing etc. Fishing in the nearby stream, or on the River Ure is available on day tickets from the local Angling Association. Carefully looked after by the owners, the barn briefly comprises:
Ground Floor: Spacious sitting room with open or electric fire. Dining room with electric fire and well equipped kitchen. Separate WC and wash handbasin. First Floor: - 1 double and 2 twin bedrooms.
- Bathroom with electric shower over the bath, heat and light fitting.
Facilities include: - Electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee-maker.
- Colour TV, DVD and video, radio cassette.
 - Automatic washer, iron/ironing board, 24hr drying service.
- Immersion heater. Shaver point.
- Duvets, bed linen and tea towels provided.

SKELGILL BARN which sleeps 4 (Friday to Friday lets) is only 200 yards away and larger groups might like to book both cottages to holiday close together.
