Low Isle Cottage is a spacious terraced cottage with sea and harbour views to the front (photo above) and a large delightful mature garden to the rear. The interior is very light and bright with quarry tiled floors in the kitchen and dining room. A shingle beach just across the road from the cottage and boats bobbing in the harbour make for a very relaxing atmosphere.
  Ground Floor: Large sitting room overlooking the harbour with comfortable seating, colour TV and coal effect electric fire. Rear views to large enclosed garden - very safe for children. Spacious dining room adjacent to large well equipped kitchen to the rear. Large entrance hall with L shaped well banistered staircase leading to landing with bedrooms and shower room/wc.  First Floor: Bedroom 1 is light and airy and has a large window overlooking the bay, with 1 double bed and a cot. Bedroom 2 is also light and airy and again with a large window overlooking the bay, has 4 full size single beds (not bunks). If required up to 2 single beds could be accommodated on ground floor. The shower room has a walk in shower cubicle with electric shower, wc, washhand basin and heated towel rail. Facilities: Colour TV, video, DVD player, Hi-Fi. Electric cooker, microwave, toaster, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, washing machine, fridgefreezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, hairdryer. Cot, high chair. All bed linen and towels included. Garden furniture and small barbecue. Electric central heating by storage radiators. Electricity is included (except October to April when by meter reading at cost). Parking is on street outside or on off road space 25 metres away. The village has a post office/small shop, two hotels and restaurants serving good food and Real Ales. Whithorn 3 miles away has a larger selection of shops including a mini supermarket. Ladies, Gents and Children's bicycles available for hire complete with safety helmets. Location - The Isle of Whithorn is a small peaceful, picturesque village in the Machars area of South West Scotland, with views to the Isle of Man and the Cumbrian coast, ideal for a quiet relaxing holiday, or with opportunities for golf, sailing, sea angling or fresh water fishing, bird watching, walking or cycling.
- There are a number of golf courses within easy reach, many on the coast.
- A number of archaeological sites are close by including St Ninian's Cave and the Whithorn Dig, with displays and video presentations of Scotland's early Christian heritage.
- Ferry trips to Northern Ireland can be made from Stranraer.
- The Gulf Stream gives a mild climate and this has resulted in a number of Gardens (open to the public) with exotic plants from many sub tropical regions of the world.
