LOWER SELLICKS
excellent cottage for extended family gatherings, we've had 60th birthdays, silver weddings and even a 'surprise' wedding! But it does not need to be a celebration - families have just enjoyed having holidays together.
cottage works really well for walking groups - no need to take the car out, there are numerous and varied walks from the cottage. And we've done a lot of circular walks with a pub in the middle!
short breaks available most of the year - contact the owner for details.

The cottage has a BT BROADBAND line into the house and into a wireless hub for which we provide visitors with the access code. We also provide a network cable for direct connection to the hub. This should enable visitors to connect their own laptop or other equipment to the internet (ie either by the cable or wireless).

VISITORS' COMMENTS
I am just writing to let you know that we all had a wonderful holiday at Lower Selllicks at the end of July. We especially liked the garden with the marvellous stream - what a very special place.
I just wanted to say thank you for another great new year’s break at the cottage, we all had a great time and just love it down there! We’ll be in touch to sort out another booking soon!
What an absolutely gorgeous cottage and delightful garden.....we couldn't believe our luck in finding such a gem! The children loved paddling in the stream, exploring the garden and marching backwards and forwards across the bridge! Us adults enjoyed a great family get together.
We had a lovely week in Roadwater. Two wet days but fine otherwise and quite mild so we were able to enjoy the garden and the children did some splashing in the stream. We found the house very comfortable and cosy and an excellent base for exploring the local area. We had a splendid walk around from Tarr Steps and we very much enjoyed the steam train up to Dunster and a visit to the village and castle as well as some coastal walks.
