Riverside Log Cabins are situated in Perthshire in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Sitting on the banks of the gently flowing River Earn, the cabins lie between pine clad hills and are named after the surrounding glens. Riverside is just 1 mile from St.Fillans on Loch Earn, one of Scotland's most beautiful lochs, and 4 miles west of the historic village of Comrie.

The area offers a wealth of activities in the immediate vicinity. Golf, sailing, fishing, walking, riding, watersports and shooting are all nearby, while swimming and indoor sports are only a short drive away in Crieff.

Riverside offers the perfect touring base, whether you seek the magnificent scenery of Scotland's mountains - Glencoe, or the history, museums and shops of Edinburgh or Glasgow, each just over an hour's drive distant. Golf enthusiasts can visit St.Andrews, about an hour away, or Gleneagles which is only half an hour, or play any of the 5 courses within 11 miles of Riverside. Many of our guests enjoy a trip to Loch Ness in the hope of spotting the monster!!

Accommodation
Each cabin is fully equipped for 6 people, and overlooks the river. Each has a lounge, dining area and kitchen which has a full size cooker, a microwave, fridge and washing machine. There are three bedrooms, a double, a twin and a bunk, each of which sleeps 2 adults. Patio doors from the lounge open onto a deck area where an evening meal can be enjoyed with only the ducks for company.

Many guests enjoy just sitting watching the varied wildlife which visits Riverside. Apart from the resident ducks, we have regular visits from a great variety of birds including pheasants, herons and the occasional osprey. A squirrel is a recent regular visitor while deer can sometimes be seen crossing the river at dusk.

Whether you are looking for a place to rest and recharge your batteries or a fairly active sporting holiday, Riverside is the ideal spot.

Whatver your preference, you will find that Riverside Log Cabins offer the perfect base for a memorable holiday - and in fact many of our guests return year after year!!
