Loddington Oast is a large character self catering apartment within our converted Oast House. It is self contained with its own private entrance accessed over a wooden bridge. Internally it has original exposed beams and unusual round walls.

The Hop Bines at Loddington Oast is built to a very high standard from local stone with oak joinery. Sleeps 2. Situated in a very quiet country lane there are large gardens to enjoy with fabulous views over the Weald of Kent. The property is situated off a very quiet country lane and has ample parking for cars in front of the apartment.  
  • Country walks along ancient footpaths and a wide range of National Trust properties to visit are features of the area. Sissinghurst and Leeds Castle are close by.
  • We are located 4 miles south of Maidstone, county town of Kent and within a short drive of Canterbury, Rochester, Tunbrige Wells and the long coastline of Kent.

Oast Apartment Accommodation  
  • Furnished to a high standard, the internal accomodation consists of a large sitting room, with TV, video and dining table and has views over the garden.
  • A separate double bedroom on a mezzanine floor and accessed by a single flight of stairs sleeps two in a king-size double bed.
  • A fully fitted kitchen has an electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer.
  • Large shower room / wc with washing machine.
  • Guests are most welcome to enjoy the gardens, which extend to three-quarters of an acre, and where the octagonal summerhouse is a favourite for sitting out on a summers evening. Native bats can usually be seen flying at dusk in summer.
Central London is 35 miles away and an hour by train from a choice of local stations. Visit France, including Paris, in a day or even an afternoon for a "booze cruise" with good value beers and wines available in Calais and Northern France.
