Had a great time enjoying the local area. Settle and Kirkby Lonsdale and would recommend the Waterfall walk in Ingleton. White Scar Caves are a good day out. The Bay Horse pub in Arkholme village is very relaxed and has a good choice of very tasty food - we recommend the sticky ginger pudding! We had a great time here. The cottage and the log fire are great.

Locka has been the perfect base for discovering the Lakes. We highly recommend a visit to Windermere, Grasmere and Bowness on Windermere. Locka Cottage is lovely and cosy; a home from home and the perfect cottage retreat.
