Comprising lounge, dining room, 3 double bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. Built in 1780, it has some lovely features ie coal stove fire and stone walls. Secluded garden to the rear with open views over the loch.

The perfect place to relax and unwind, Lochview Cottage is the ideal location to explore the surrounding sites and beautiful landscapes of Argyll all year round. Whether you are reading a book, looking at the ever changing sea loch or checking out the many interesting places to visit, this perfect location has something for everyone.  

• Lochgilphead's local conveniences include shops, pubs, hotels, restaurants, swimming pool, leisure centre and a golf course.
• A short walk from the Cottage is the Crinan Canal which starts at Ardrishaig on Loch Fyne, and ends nine miles away at on the Sound of Jura. It was designed to provide a quick link between the west coast and islands at one end and the Clyde Estuary at the other, and so avoid the long voyage around the south end of the Kintyre Peninsula.
• Approximately 16 miles from Lochgilphead on the Oban Road historic sights worth a visit include Carnasserie Castle Ruin in Kilmartin Glen. In this valley you will find an abundance of evidence pointing to the Ancient Kingdoms of the Scots. More than 5000 years old, discover fascinating standing stones, stone circles and castles.

• Hair dryer, ironing board and iron.
• Duvets and pillows provided - please provide your own bed linen and towels.

Lochview is available for rent - minimum stay 2 nights - weekly lets preferred. We regret we cannot accept credit/debit card payments.
